Our services include:

Routine dental cleanings are essential for clean teeth and good oral hygiene. We recommend a professional dental cleaning at least twice a year to help improve and maintain your oral health. Our friendly hygienists are meticulous when it comes to removing tartar, stains, calculus, and plaque during teeth cleanings. They will finish the process by polishing and flossing your teeth so you can leave with a clean, healthy, sparkling smile!
William Fessler Family Dentistry is proud to offer the latest imaging technologies that are safe and emit minimal radiation. Digital x-rays give Dr. Fessler an accurate look at teeth and surrounding structures, allowing him to check for signs of tooth decay, oral cancer and other diseases not visible during a routine check-up. Our office also utilizes 3D x-rays, which are CAT scans of the mouth and jaw areas, to help us identify issues and devise treatment plans.
A cosmetic tooth filling is an option for repairing and restoring a damaged tooth. The filling is inserted into the tooth to prevent further decay, and retain its normal function. Cosmetic fillings closely match the color of your natural teeth and are a reliable option for improving the aesthetics of your smile.
Crowns are used to completely cover, or “cap”, a damaged tooth to restore its shape, size and integrity. Once cemented into place, crowns fully encase the visible portion of the tooth. They are often used following a restorative procedure, such as a root canal, and to connect dental bridges. Ultimately, crowns improve the look and function of cracked, chipped and discolored teeth or implants.
Bridges are dental appliances used to replace the gap left behind by missing teeth. Custom made to fit your mouth, they restore the natural contour of teeth and improve your bite. Bridges are bonded to existing teeth or implants that can either be fixed or removable.
Dental implants help to replace a missing tooth or teeth. Surgically anchored to the jawbone, they serve as the root of the tooth and a foundation for a replacement tooth or permanent bridge. For an implant to successfully take hold, the patient must have good bone structure. Contact our office today to determine if a dental implant is the best option for replacing a missing tooth.
Veneers are ultra-thin pieces of porcelain cemented onto the front of your teeth to improve the color and shape of badly stained or crooked teeth. They’re a great, long-term restorative option that’s highly resistant to staining. If you’d like to mask chipped, worn or discolored teeth, call us today to find out how we can help!
Dr. Fessler performs root canal therapy to save a badly infected tooth that has a diseased pulp. The pulp is the inner part of the tooth and contains the tooth’s vessels, nerves and other tissues. When an injury compromises the pulp, a host of problems will arise, including severe pain and sensitivity. During the procedure, Dr. Fessler will remove the diseased pulp and clean and disinfect the tooth’s interior. A crown is recommended for protection against infection and future decay.
At William Fessler Family Dentistry, we will make every effort to save a decaying tooth. However, if the tooth is beyond repair and will not improve with a restorative dental option, an extraction may be necessary. If you do need a tooth pulled, we ensure you experience little to no discomfort during extraction, and will advise you on how to properly care for the area once we are done.
Prosthetic dentistry involves the replacement of missing teeth, soft tissues, or all teeth through a variety of artificial means and devices. Dr. Fessler has the skills and knowledge to properly replace your missing teeth and give you a fully functioning and appealing smile. Common devices used in prosthetic dentistry are dentures, which can be fixed or removable and full or partial. If you are missing some or all of your teeth, we will help you determine if getting custom-fit dentures is the best option for your lifestyle.
If you have muscle problems that affect jaw movement, or pain around the jaw joint, you may have a Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder. If this is the case, Dr. Fessler will make a full assessment of your bite and then discuss the best approach for alleviating your symptoms. Some patients are able to find relief by simply wearing an oral splint or mouth guard. Other options for relieving jaw tension include orthodontics and full mouth reconstruction.
